SUPERMAN actor Margot Kidder has been forced to cancel an appearance at a special Melbourne screening of the film tonight after being rushed to hospital with pneumonia.
Kidder, who played Lois Lane in the Superman series, was due to take part in a Q and A session at The Astor Theatre in St Kilda.

The 64-year-old appeared at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo in Sydney on the weekend. She is being treated at St Vincent’s Hospital in Darlinghurst, where she was taken at midday.
